again, -1 for wires showing, +1 for nice custom work. it would take all of what? ten minutes to drill some holes and install some grommets or something at least...

The problem woudl be if the box is actualy under the board the amp is mounted to so that he would essentualy be drilling into the sub box and killing the seal. Not good.

however, drilling holes might change the design of the box if they are not plugged up completely with wire. If it is all one big enclosure under the amp, then you will hear air going through the holes you cut.

I have a feeling thats what the wires were never hidden.
Oh well, lesson learned, so its either time to relocate the amp to get it out of anyones sight path or start rebuilding the box. At very least get rid of the radio shack RCAs

Any time, it aint sold yet. Everyone want to run retardly large speakers in kicks which isn'tgoing to happen. It was a b**** to get 5.25" components down there.

yea but it still has to be painted and i dont ahve th emoney for it. can you do a look at my recent posts about the JVC deck? plus thats something that you would buy after you already upgraded the other speakers. im thinking of buying some infinity 6.5s for the front door...but then im looking at an amp etc.
