custom enclosures

i ordered the v5.0 to see if it was worth recomending to people. i got the set of DVD's, but they wouldn't play in my laptop, my desktop, my xbox, my PS2, or my buddies stand alone DVD player:( i contacted greg, who seemed very cool, and he said to send them back and he'd send me a new set, along with the old set and a T-shirt. that was almost a month ago and i haven't heard back. i've e-mailed them a few times and got no response. needless to say as of right now i do not recomend purchasing from them. if/when they remedy the problem they created, i will post and let you know how the set is. till then, be wary about purchasing from them.

whew, 49.99 on sale to learn to fiberglass? and the other was 64.99. damn thats spendy. i learned for free. i just read thru this http://www.e-kittan.com/fibre.html once or twice and got down and dirty=).

from what i could see (the DVD's kept skipping and cutting out) there is a lot more than just fiberglassing. flush mounting HU's, building kick panels, etc.

Yeah the skipping happened to me too on my two dvd player but i took it to my friends and used his x box and worked great so i went a bought a new dvd player that says it is capable with dvd-r because that is what it is

I honestly think that a bit of guidance and just plain diving into it all is plenty. Seems to me to be the kind of thing that you can relaly just sorta pick up as you go along. *shurg* to each their own, but whynot spend $70 on all of the supplies and build a "practice" box or two?

from what i could see, it was a lot more than just boxes. they show little tips and tricks that you probably won't learn on your own to make the job easier. if i could actually see them i'd say if they were good or not. and if i was contacted back from them to find out what the hell is going on, i might recomend them. but till i hear back, i don't recomend buying from them.

Rider69, i would if i had them, but i sent them back and haven't heard from them:( i'll be getting those CD's in the mail for you this week;)

Well that's good. I still need to learn how to fiberglass though, lol. Anybody know any websites or something? (the link on this page doesn't seem to be working)

I guess you need to find a torrent for these movies.
