custom cold air intake for fwd mazda protege95-98

really I've been looking for a cold air intake for my 97 mazda protege and I found nothing that would fit into the spefic area I wanted it to so me and my buddies got together and made one our selve's. open the attachment and look at the work we came up with. it's 3inch inside through the entire intake the part that looks silver is actually clear it has reinforced threading in it for strenght if your interested we are makeing these at a low cost of 75+ shipping let me know if your interested.

i would rethink the material there. its not meant to hold vacuum or air, rather fluids, and therefore will not provide you with a great seal. also its not meant to shed heat as a traditional intake is, and you will actually lose some power from the inherent heat retention properties of a nylon or plastic hose
 
air intake.

I used an APC intake from a 98+ honda accord, I went back to stock because it did nothing at all for the car so i left a small piece of the intake on and had a cone filter left on. I had to cut half of the intake but it worked. and used 2 rubber fittings, one like a 2 1/2 to 3 fitting for the MAF and another one for the cone filter. I cut an X in the fitting and put the IAT sensor in it. Email for pictures.
