Current Workarounds for the iPod Integration?

Heya, folks. So I've been perusing these forums but given the age of some of the threads, I'm still a bit confused as to what my options are.

I just took delivery of my 2015 CX-5 Grand Touring model last night. I hooked up an iPod Nano 6G through the USB and the system is still re-loading my iPod each time I start the car and it always starts with the first song on the iPod. It's a bit annoying. What are the current workarounds/fixes? Would a 7G iPod Nano (with built in Bluetooth) solve the Load Time/Playback Resume issues?

There are currently no solutions, you just have to put up with it if you use USB. If you just care about playing the music you can use the aux jack. But as you suggested the Bluetooth audio works really well. It still has a little delay on startup, but it will auto resume every time. I use it to stream Spotify from my phone and it works just fine.

Bluetooth. Plug the phone in after starting the car (to charge it, for example) or it will try to connect via USB. I also use Spotify with great success.
