Current Engine bay pics everyone

Uhh, it's not capped. I'm trying for a flexible egr lol. Home Depot didn't seem to have any metric female fitted gas lines, so right now it's just sucking open air (shrug).

And, I cut out the second cat since it was in the way, and then just had my friend weld up a temporary section out of random pieces to fill in the gap.

You can buy the cap for the EGR from lowes...thats where I bought mine from, its a 1/2" FPT i believe
Its brass, but it handles the heat pretty well on my turbo manifold

oops....posted these on another thread a few weeks ago after installing my new valve cover and radiator hoses, and completely forgot about this one that was engine bay specific. here goes:

thanks! i was really lucky to get it from fatti03msp when he put it up for sale about a year ago. it probably helped that the VC was for the FP rather than for the FS engine...im sure that it would have sold to someone else much sooner if it was....

The fittings aren't metric, they should have them.

I thought I recognized that from Fatti's car. And honestly that VC is relatively popular for the FS for the 1.8L coil swap.

a 1.8l coil swap! that explains why he had this particular type of VC on his car!!! pardon my ignorance, but what advantage is there to doing the swap?

I have it on the car, IMO the only difference is the looks. Some might say performance but i never noticed any cause i normally change too much at once..

whats the best way to clean a motor?
i really dont think washing it would be a good idea and i know mine has never been cleaned.

degreaser, a rag, some windex, a spray bottle of water, and alot of time lol

That VC looks nice! When I saw it on fatti's car it was nice but his engine bay was all dirty and such. Good work!
