Yeah that would be a way easier cruise to begin with. And best to do that one before it gets to hot.

Valley of Fire the the only really doable one right now... so thats got my vote...
Zion is really only practical after about april... but much more enjoyable late summer. Many of the ski resorts in that area are still advertising... so all the good roads will probably still be closed, and covered w/5-10ft of snow, if its anything like last year. My family owns some property up near brian head, and generally spring/early summer is pretty miserable with bugs/flies/mosquitos... and doing zion would entail a large bit of planning... cos theres just SO much to do up there.

lets maybe wait until the lvrscca auto-x full year schedule gets posted? their official site only shows this coming weekend, but rumours for a 2-day event the next weekend... but the official schedule shows this weekend, and then the events at nellis, starting in april...
Maybe some weekend date in march? still not too hot for VOF (its called valley of FIRE for a reason...)
And I think we should plan going in from Henderson thru the north lake meade roads.... that way maybe we can end the cruise at the truck stop where theres plenty of parking, and they sell FIREWORKS year-round... so maybe we can get some awesome pics before cruising back to vegas.
