cross/slotted rotors installed

Hey everyone, I installed my rotors about 3 months ago and I was just wondering if I install it facing the correct direction. I have no problems with the way they are right now, but just wanted to be safe. I haven't been able to save up for SS lines yet and I know there's a GB going on but that'll have to wait a few. I attached some big pictures below cus I don't feel like taking off the rim, I have class soon. Thanks

Thats the way I have mine. But I have seen them both ways and don't really know why. Is there any reason to have the top of the slot or hole reaching the pad first.

You must install them based on the internal vanes. The cooling vanes in the rotor are usually straight or curved,if they are straight then it doesn't matter which way they are installed, but if they are curved they must be installed so that the outer part of the vanes is at the back.

yeah because I've seen some curved rotors install where the top of the curve slices into the brake pad. I just think that the way my rotors were installed looks much cooler then if it were backwards.

Since when were brakes an aesthetic "mod"? I always thought they were there to stop the car... just cuz one way looks cooler doesn't make it smarter.

well these rotors feel like the stock ones do, it depends on what type of pads you put on, unless you have a big brake kit. I just thought it looks nicer the way the slot cuts into the pad, as for performance not too concerned because it feels STOCK. I hear all the SS lines do is make your pedal stiffer. I like that feeling, almost like my C230 Mercedes.

The lines will make it feel stiffer under heavy braking. But not so much on streets.
