I put on my tein springs and hit a hole in the road.. I got out of car and the rear drivers side wheel well had cracked a little bit.. My friends tell me is not that noticeable but it bothers the s*** out of me.. My car is titanium with black decals.. What do u guys think about putting black wheel weld molding on it until I can get it fixed?

I think you're going to have to post some pics. I can't picture it right now. Inside under the car or on the body?

Its on the body right above the tire where the bumper connects..this is not a pic of the damage its just to describe it better..

Hmm, considering that the crack is on the body, then I would have to say that it wasn't caused by the spring.

Has your car been in an accident? If so, it could be body filler that is cracked.

I know when it was caused.. When I bought my new wheels I had them in the back seat and I hit a pot hole..

I'm confused.

Potholes don't cause body damage, they cause suspension and wheel/tire damage.

Take a pic of the damage please, nobody knows what you are talking about.

Okay, now I'm confused. So did installing the springs and running over a bump cause the crack or did the spare wheel in the back seat cause the crack? Either way I don't think that is possible considering that the spring would not put any stress on that area and the wheels bouncing around in the back seat won't either.

Pretty sure they’re talking about something like this but less damage. Mine was caused by a car wash’s tire shine being off track. The damage is inside right in front of the front passenger tire on the tire mold. Pic is of my damage. I only stumbled upon this post because I wanted to know if this kind of damage was dangerous or not
