I got the CPE Standback installed and tuned last week. All I have to say is...Wow!!! I took it to Import Hot Rod Garage and dropped it off. It took them two days (taking their time and working on other cars as well) to install it, tune and dyno it. There is not a wire in site, they did a awesome job putting it in. They extended the wires so they could hide it under the battery casing. They had me look under the hood and I'm telling you it would be extremely difficult for someone to spot any of their work...I was extremely pleased. After everything was put in and hidden Ronald started put it on the dyno and started tuning. He made two maps for me and set the switch for this on the side of my steering wheel (blinks red for stock map, flip it up and it blinks green for the tuned map). One is basically stock for dealership visits running at 15psi and the other is smoothly running at 19psi. This thing hauls balls!!! It literally fights for grip at the top of 2nd and keeps your back glued to the seat. I had to let off in the middle of third last week when it was raining, I just can't believe the difference in power from the standback and a good tune. Ronald made nearly 30 pulls in those two days and never hit a problem or rough spot. He loved how easy it was to tune and he was pretty amazed at the gains. It unfortunately rained all week so it was very humid outside, so my numbers could have been a bit higher but I"m still stoked! These dyno's are very accurate and need no adjustment whatsoever to the numbers you make. My base pull before the install was 230WHP and 260TQ. After my tune and running off the 2nd map we hit 253WHP and 288TQ (cabpatch) Third gear and fourth gear is just amazing, it feels like a different beast now. I did throw a cel over the weekend but I am going to get it checked out this week. Car runs beautifully though and has no hick-ups whatsoever at any RPM. Best mod to date by a long run!
