I just received my pistons and rods from Beau tonight, they are hot!! I had to pry the pistons out of his hands because he didn't want to part with them...:D

If anyone wants a set, please get your measurements (bore size after honing) to Beau, these pistons are custom cut so that they match your specs. Turnaround time from Oliver and CP is 1-2 months. Here is your pricing. You will see that it is competitive with the Pauter and JE pricing, but we all know that these are tons better!
Rods $725
pistons $650
$1300 for both

The oil squirter channels are visible too.
Enjoy!

My plans?? Every one you can think of. Toga bearings, oil pump, ARP hardware, Indigo flywheel, Spec clutch, headwork, copper headgasket, Outlaw Engineering intake gasket, blah, blah, blah.

I actually sold my JE pistons and Pauter rods so I could go with these beasts! Nothing can stop me now! Except for maybe a busted crankshaft ;)

doh! i forgot you were the test bed for the thumper kit so of course going all out was on the drawing board, LOL!

what did your old setup consist of? just installing the rods/pistons?

good luck on your new setup. can't wait to see it finished.

Hiboost kit with E6X
RC440s injectors
JE pistons
Pauter rods
ACT clutch

SICK!!! Thanks so much for posting those pics.:) I am waiting patiently for my CP pistons to get here... I hope that Beau isn't planning on me going out there to pry mine from his hands.

Wait a minute... you have 8.5 also? You didn't happen to pry MY rods out of his hands did you? LOL, jk man... sounds like we are doing almost the exact same build. Is Beau doing it? Hope so, that will give him some practice for mine.:D

yeah... look at the Rod's journal... notice that it is still in one piece? it is cut (ever so slightly on each side) and you have to crack it the rest of the way.... they do this so the journal is perfect, the grain connects and flows properly, and that the pieces mate up perfectly.

wait we need to send measurements? Aren't we all gonna use the same size unless we bore out the block no matter what CR we go to? I would love to buy these. Just need to get a few months of this job under my belt. They Look awesome man, good luck with the build up.

Sure, you can have them cut to the stock bore. I was just saying that the those who want exacting tolerances for a high HP motor should hone and then get new measurements.
