yeah... mine are stock bore + a .003" hone.... with a .001" tolerance...

its really quite important to be accurate to not make any noise with forged pistons.

hey ddog, I know I'm getting way ahead of myself here but I'm as gitty as a little school girl to see someone break the 500 whp mark on a street Pro, but when do you expect to have everything installed and tuned with some sick ass dyno numbers?

Hmm, if everything went perfect it would be done with the built block in by next month. The turbo kit will be finished soon but I will only be running 8psi until I swap blocks.

bringing this back...what about "swan" coating the pistons so they dont slap too much and are quieter....i will be buying this soon and was wondering if this is an option, i really dont want the "diesel" sound the engine has when its forged..

whyd you go with 8.5 instead of 8.0? also, where are you gonna get the toda bearings from? i could use some of those too...

Oh, I actually did get 8.0:1 pistons, overbored .02" I believe. I will be coating them to keep the pistons cool.

The engine code is correct but are there any intrenal diferences that have been made to the crank for the P5 or MSP since then?

did you get the cp pistons cut to fit the oil squirters in there? still wondering if swan coating can be put on this before receiving the pistons also...

The pistons come cut to clear squirters. If you want them coated before they are shipped off to you in HI, you will have to get in contact with Beau and Swain and set it up. I'm sure Beau won't mind shipping them to Swain, but you need to take care of the shipping charges and make sure that Swain sends them straight back to you.
