What do you think ladeis and gentlemen. I need to make a decision and it needs to be now. What would be the best option at this very moment conisdering the mods I have installed?

I think the tuning solution would complement the other mods you already have nicely. The top mount might give you more bang for your buck but I really don't know much about ecu tuning. If it was me I would go with top mount because it is install and you are done.

Top Mounted Knowledge007, there are more tuning options in the works by a few different tuner houses - the longer you wait on that, the better your selection, and the better chance it can be modified specifically for your application, i.e. your mods.

Just my $0.02.

if the standback gets rid of fuel cut(which i think it does) then for you i would get the cpe standback, then the ets.

but blumicar has a point. tough decision good luck

I know about the tmic, I have been waiting on street u nit and they keep telling me 2 weeks... thats been since atleast 2 months ago. I guess I am going to have to go with the tuning solution to open her up a little more. I know there are other companies working on tuning but the CP-E has everything we need to tune this car anyway. Just comes as a standback/piggyback.

you could always get the top mount later....isnt cp-e working on second gen sttandback that controls throttle position? you should wait for that one. either way you gona end up with both anyways but for tuning i would wait for cp-e's second gen since it controls throttle

If PnP was ready, I would say standback, but since it is not, I would go with the TMIC. Just me...

I would go with the tmic.No reason to buy something that you have to cut up your wire harness and void your cars warranty. There are going to be some good pnp ems systems out in the next 2 months or so.I think you will be sorry to rush out and buy something that will void your cars warranty because you didnt want to wait just 1 or 2 months. The TMIC is a no brainer to me at this point even if they are giving you a deal.

once i finish my exhaust the next step is def tuning. ive heard nothing but awesome things when this car is properly tuned with mods. the upgraded IC is a good mod, but not a necessary one. (from what ive been told) i think that if the speed3 came with some hood vents somewhere or something about 20% of the heat soak would disappear and the stock IC would work juuust fine with the stock turbo. any objections? thats what im thinking anyway. i think i might put something like the WRX scoop delete vent in the hood. or maybe something like a few gill vents along the hood lines up towards the windshield. does anyone think it would make much difference?
