Okay heres the deal. I know people aren't to fond with storing cars. I live in connecticut, and im thinking about storing my speed during the winter. While its in my garage ill be modding it as well. its an 09 and I just want to be on the safer side. I got my oil changed on friday and will probably drive it for a couple more weeks. What else will I have to do?

A) Fill it up with gas?
B) Start it up here and there?
C) Stabilizer?
D) What should I do about my tires?

And finally is there anything I forgot? Thanks for the help guys. Its really a big help

A) Yes
B) Yes maybe ever 3-5 days
C) Don't think there'll be any issues with that
D) Tires should be fine, just monitor once a week or so

These are all my opinions so I might be right or I might be wrong.

That's what we are pretty much doing with our Lexus while the hubby is at Basic Training. Sucks that it has to be in a storage unit, but it's safer there then here where trees fall all the time. Just make sure to start it up and watch the tires. Maybe take it out for a run around the block every once in a while.

I stored my ms3 for more than a month a couple of times last year while traveling for work so i'll offer my difference in opinions

A)Yes
B)Would be nice, but not necessary. Maybe once a month, but more would never hurt.
C)Nah, shouldnt need it
D)A couple of months probably won't give you permanent flat spots, but if you're worried, go buy some jack stands and take the wheels off and store them seperately.

My best advice for storing the car in this situation is to find that one nice winter day where the temp climbs into the 40s and 50s and drive the car around for an hour. You'll enjoy getting back behind the wheel and the car will be back to storage day 1. Also a fresh coat of wax will make getting that garage dust off wayy easier.
