cost of living in San Diego

hey guys i'm considering moving down to San Diego but the job doesnt pay that well it pays around 26-28k, I would also be living alone if I move down there. So could you guys please give me some input on the cost of living down there and is that enough?

26-28k is pretty much considered poverty level around here. You are going to need a roommate.

you'll be fine. Shop around and then ask questions about the area. Everyone has some stereotype they pin to each area. If you want cheap and boarder line safe look in chula vista. I live in Santee; 2bd, 1ba, central air, dish washer, gated community, no balcony runs me $975. you can find good deals all over the area you just have to look. if you like to party, get a small studio in mission beach/pacific beach.
