i ran over some metal at a construction site the other day, it was on a main road in town and i got a flat tire. im going to go to the town and see if they will pay for it for me. so if they ask how much a new tire is, where can i find a place that the tire is most expensive. because if i can get a check for that amount i could put it towards my new rims and tires that im most likely getting, unless the town is just like oah well buy the new tire, just show us a receipt, then i will just get the new tire. anyway, whats the approx cost on a new tire, and where do u recommend getting one.

well for starters....EXACTLY what tires did you get on your car? if they are the dunlop 5000's....the previous two guesses are a bit low....more like $140. so tell us exactly what tires you have...and we can give you an exact number that way...

Well I was driving.
Well was driving down the road and all of a sudden I get this vibration.
So when I get to where, I was going , my buddy looks and behold.
My tire has a ZIT. LOL.
I did not hit anything. So I went to the dealer they said go to good year.
Fun Looks like I might have to buy a tire, but 210 for a tire is nuts, I checked out tire rack and 140 is not bad..
But still.. Dang... this sucks..

I will tell you from experince that you will need to go after the construction company for that type of thing. The city is not responcible from items that happen in construction zones. It is the responciblity of the contract and his insurance. Unless it was the city doing the actual work. I had a temporary traffic sign fall over on the side of my old civic. I took some picture and eventual recieve complete compensation for repairs, but it came from on of the contractors sub (sub responcible for traffic control).
Just to help out.
