I'm about to purchase an exhaust, unichip, and cold air intake. What is everyones thoughts on what I should get for an exhaust system? CORKSPORT or GREDDY? I'm looking for something that is not overly loud. Let me know your thoughts. I have listened to all the videos on the forums and I can't decide since I have never been up close and personal with anything other than a vibrant and that was too loud for me.

the corksport true turboback exhaust (including the now-available downpipe) w/ a cat welded in sounds pretty mean and adds at least 10-15 hp.
the greddy has a nice growl, but it's only a catback and won't yield as good of gains. you'd have to go out and get a new midpipe to see the kind of gains you would with the CS exhaust.

corksport all the way....love mine!!!
I had an Apex 2.5" Downpipe with the Greddy SP2 cat-back (~2.25"). It sounded stock at idle then louder at higher rpm. If you don't want loud then this is a good setup. Too bad I just sold it!

as I said in the other thread, corksport is louder than the vibrant, here's my friends corksport 1st video

The downpipe has a lot to do with it. They were on there when I got the car, so I cannot compare with stock. It seems the turbo spools only a little faster with my new 3" exhaust.... so the Greddy and Apex combo must have been doing ok.

What about appearance, i have seen several varieties of the corkspot pipe, some stick out too far, others not enough. also, i never have that black exhaust dirt going up the back of my car and i hardly ever wash it, you really see alot of that with the cork sport

i am not trying to knock corksport, i have purchased plenty from them, i just think if you are looking for the best quality, then vibrant is your best bet
4th is me and the only other vibrant in georgia, at least on msps, you can tell they are well made and no real differences between them
if you can wait til friday, this thursday night we have a big meet and i will get you all the video and pictures of these exhausts you want.

That would be a huge help! I have talked to folks about Vibrant and they have said it is pretty loud. I want the sound from the Greddy but with the performance gains you know? If you could help out that would be great. Maybe I could chat with you on your cell when your driving just to get an idea of the cabin noise. Let me know!!!

yeah if you got free long distance I don't care, if you want I'll pM you my # in the morning and you can hit me up in the afternoon on the way home, as said in the other thread i ride the metro rail so you have to wait for me to get to my car. yeah i have the corksport (in the video above) i cant rly tell which is louder i think the vibrant is about the same. Personally for the price and the gain i would definatly go with the corksport i mean for 650 you can have the entire turbo back exhaust where as any of the other true turbo back exhausts cost almost twice as much.

Actually I just finnished making a pretty cool video, it took me some time, but I think it is pretty good, I'll email it in the morning from work, its 80 MB big!
