Corksport Exhaust Silencer

I cant brinf myself to want to put a silencer in it I love the sound. I thought I was going to have to buy one for trips but I recently drove over a hundred miles & my fiance said it didnt bother her one bit...

I've heard one with the silencer, definitely takes away from the sound. Also, he had to modify it to keep it from rattling when he initially installed it. He's since removed it and I don't think he plans on putting it back in.

i have one, havent tried it, and dont plan on it... the sound is freakin great.

I believe you have to drill an extra hole into the silencer & exhaust tip so that it can be held in there by 2 bolts instead of one. You also have to trim off some of the piping on the silencer because otherwise it sounds like a fart can...from what Ive read atleast

when I had mine it sounded very loud with out the sil being in there and I couldnt take the drowning at cruising speeds. I put the sil in and my only complaint was that it rattled like a mofo! As far as the sound goes, I think it sounded just a little louder than my greddy on my pgt.

Hey guys i was planning on gettin a corksport exhaust but was kind of put off by the description of it being illegal because the removal of the catalyst. Any of you guys ran into any problems with it as far as the law goes? And another thing i dont plan on installing it myself so for those of you who had it put on how did u go about it?

I have the stock exxhaust or muffler with the piping from the corksport... It makes me pretty happy!! It has a little rumble

The only gripe i have from owning, one is the carbon deposits on my rear bumper and if you wanna take the silencer out, its kinda a b****.

rattles like mad. Anyone know of what kind of drill bit to use to get through the SS? I can't seem to find one that will penetrate the exhaust.

the sound isnt that bad but i keep gettin gletter from the condo are i live in saying that i am racing around the nebor hood when it is just the exhaust, and when you are slowing down the gargle that ist gives you is oo so nice. i love it but the GF hates the sound so if anybody has a silencer for sale i would love to get one from you if possible.

When I first put the CS exhaust on it was to loud for me. I bought the silencer and it rattled its way loose and I lost the damn thing. I now have the stock muffler section bolted to the CS piping and its exactly what I wanted. Its not to loud but louder than stock and the difference in power is noticable above stock.

Anyone with the silencer have issue with the car interior smelling like exhaust or gas when you have the heater on?

Also when you drill the second bolt in. What location do u drill into? It rattles like crazy right now and the whole car seems louder with the silencer on.

dont get caught with it...big fines....and self installation isnt too hard
