Pictures Unfortunately the video didn't have sound, I'll get another one with the other digital camera tommorow after I fix the fitment issues

Goodies - stuff bought from Ace Hardware
Redneck Schlong - I look like a fookin stud...yuck

Fitment, in the directions is says for MSP's and what not that you may have
to bend the hangers, on my P5 as you can tell the hangers will need to be bent. It gets hot VERY quick (in 50 seconds mine was more than warm) so whatever you do don't drive around for a day or so with this touching the rear bumper or you'll melt that mofo.

In case some odd reason your not one to keep directions around in order to bend the hangers CorkSport suggest using the close end of a wench...I'm just gonna bend the fookers up a little bit and hopefully all will be ok

bad Asphalt...check out what the jackstands did to the road...its just how deep it is (not that it did it) but that one groove is pretty damn deep.

Asphalt is more than a year old so before someone says its new and soft...ain't no damn way

Also, a picture of the piping ran underneath the car

damn, those welds look nice. Mine should be here this afternoon. Hopefully I can get it all on tonight. We'll see.

Need Help now,
I got pictures.

I went to remove the 2nd bolt from the muffler and I'll be damned whomever had the car before me BARELY stripped the screws so I was trying to be careful....well screw that the bolt got stripped so here I was with vice-grips trying to get it out to no avail :(...

Any advice? Local Shop wants 50 dollars just to remove the old system and another 50 to add the new I'm like WTF! ...
so any advice would be greatly appreciated I just have a 100 dollar tool set from Home Depot...most the time it works out pretty good dunno what to do now :(

i would recommend getting a dremel and just chopping it off...i had to do that when i replaced my exhaust.

yeah, try soaking it in PB for a couple hours. then maybe pound a smaller socket onto that, since its pretty stripped..

I love mazda people...honda people would have been like "******* newbie you suck" ...but not Mazda people

I'm liking the dremel idea because I've wanted a dremel for a long time...
I'll also look into the PB Blaster and what not
I just think a dremel will have TONS of uses in the future
(not that the other tools mentioned by Kooldino wouldn't)

yeah, dremels are wonderful. i have the dremel wannabe Mikota or something like that. it was only like $35 from wal-mart and i have used the CRAP out of it. i recommend buying the corded version because that way you dont have to worry about the batteries dying in the middle of a project. also make sure you buy the actual "dremel" brand accesories like cutting wheels and such, cuz the other ones suck.

dude, dremel all the way, my buddies endlink bolts did the same thing. If your careful, and I was, i managed to dremel the nut off of the endlink saving the thread of the endlink completely, didn't even touch them once. If you cut it just right you can just break it off with the vice-grips. Good luck with it, try and save the threads in case you want to go back to stock someday, but worse case scenerio just cut the entire bolt out and on the other side are some welds that you can cut off with the dremel and it should just hammer out. Install a new bolt and nut if you ever want to go back to stock. I've been thinking about an exhaust but I don't want to get rid of my cats, warranty issues and all. I don't want to have to take off the exhaust for trip to dealer. It only takes about 15 minutes to do this anyway, but hey, I would rather have it on there and never mess with it.

Good luck, PB Blaster works awesomee.

I own both and get treated equal from all boards.

WD-40 or any other lube won't put the edges back on the nut. ;) Use Vice Grips (aka, adjustable pliers). You give that a try yet? (no, I didn't read all the posts).

this sucks.....use lots of wd-40 and use vice-grips and maybe you can break it loose? this happened to me when i had mt aftermarket MSP exuast taken off, or when i tried to take it off. the techs who put it on friggin stripped the hel out of them. then they had 2 years of rust built up......

went to a local exhaust shop and they welded them off.....

edit:

you new exhaust looks great!
