Corksport.com JDM Tail Lights

Has anyone bought JDM Tail Lights from corksport.com? If you have, is it a direct replacement of the current tail light (harness included) or is there re-wiring necessary? On the website, it states that "Wiring is required due to the different amount of bulbs being used."

Alright alright, I did answer my own question I guess my question really is, are they the same tail lights for sale in the GBs? In the GB descriptions it sounds like its just a plug in a go installation. So I guess I am really asking, how do you install the JDM Tail Lights. We girls are a little naive when it comes to tools and wiring and stuff. Thanks

The Japanese tails that Jliao sells plug right in. The European ones have a rear fog light, so the harness is different. I've never seen the ones that Corksport sells, but I'll bet they're JDM. (uhm)Maybe they're trying to cover their ass just in case they don't plug and play....Like a generic disclaimer, or something.

yours are from Jliao arent they natey? if so are they the 4 light ones that basically have a bottom brake light or are they just like the ones in the edm post the only have 3 holes for lights?

The bottom unlit ones are the taillights, and the unlit part of the clear strip is the blinker light. 4 bulbs.

so what you are saying is your light up top and bottom red area? as well as the 2 clear areas being the blinker and reverse lights

the bottom lights up red also? unlike the usdm where only the top lights up along with blinkers and reverse obviously

Yep. When you turn on the lights, everything but the clear strip in the center (back-up & blinker) lights up. When you hit the brakes, the top half of the light gets brighter, like in the pic.

ok so the top and bottom light unlike ours and the top acts as a brake while the bottom stays as a parking light. So how did u wire it if it is different than ours with 3 loights?
