Cork Sport test pipe

I wanna get the test pipe. Could someone with little experience working with cars bolt it on? Do I need anything to weld, cut, etc?

I just don't want to be stuck with one on and have to pay 300+ to switch it out everytime I go to the dealership lol

the test pipe requires no modifications to swap in and out. no cutting, no welding, no voodoo magic here. four bolts, two gaskets and two hangers. you could do it on a lunch break and some jack stands.

Well, to be fair, there are a few more than 4 bolts if you want to do it the easy way. You have to remove the metal piece covering the 2nd cat (which is 4 or 6 bolts) and move that metal bar that crosses over where the pipe bends up towards the downpipe off to the side, which means removing another 2 bolts I think. In all, it should take about an hour, and is very straight forward. Nothing tricky at all.

Just MAKE SURE you let the car cool off for a couple hours at least before even attempting to work on it. That stuff gets really hot and you'll definitely burn yourself if you don't. You can test by spraying cold water onto the surface of the exhaust and seeing if it steams.

It is a great first project. nothing can go terribly wrong! but i suggest a Saturday instead of lunch break just in case something comes up. Like needing longer hardware than supplied or something. And this is one of the best performance mods when comparing price, difficulty, and performance. Absolutely go for it! And we will help if you struggle with anything but I don't think you will the instructions are perty good 4880.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it.

But yeah exhaust temps would be really hot, especially since i'm in Phoenix. I'm gonna go for it!
