im just wondering if any one can give me some info about this product before i buy one . i have spent 1k on my car trying to find out what is rong with it, it bogs down verry bad and it runs like crap. i have fixed the perge valve, fule pump, spark plugs, both o2 sensors, exc. and it still runs crappy. after all that b.s. im thinking about geting the map ecu because people have told me that because of my headers, exhaust, and intake the engine is sensing to much air, so it dumps fule into the combustion chamber. so the thought is that if i get this product i can even up the air to fule ratio.however i havn't heard anything about the map ecu so im wondering if any one has one yet and if it works like its supose to.
here is the link.

Thank you

Mine use to do that also. Does it run good for a little bit then run like crap for a little bit and then run good again.....etc.... Makes me think that they just programed the car to do this from the factory.

Mine started running like a champ shortly after 30,000 miles and havnt had the problem since bout 29,000.

actually what happens is i take the pos. side of the battery off to reset the computer. after i do that the car runs fine for about 10 miles before the cel comes back on, thain its down hill from there.
the bogging comes from when im in low rpm's and i give it some gas. it almost shuts off

do you know what the cel is from? that could be your prob, bad maf, o2 sensor, barometric sensor.... ????

Go under your hood and wiggle your MAF wires. My cold air intake was just a little too far from the MAF. It made the wire just a little loose and once i gave it gas it would pull the wires from a good conection and once i got goin it was fine. If it tries to shut off when you wiggle your wires then thats ur problem. and also what date was urs built on maybe mine and urs are same build.

I had a similar problem when my MAF went bad. If you have a Check Engine Light that is on Auto Zone will check it out for free for you.

Otherwise you could dyno your car and see what your air to fuel ratio really is.

i tried to wiggle the whires and no diffrence. im pritty sure its the air to fule ratio so im just going to go ahead and get the map ecu, but hase anyone herd of this one yet and do they make other ones.
