Cops Love my True Red with Tinted Windows

Don't you find driving at night difficult with all of that tint?

The only thing that's a little annoying is the left turn into my neighborhood at night. As I look left through my side window, it's hard to see down the unlit street. Otherwise, no, it's not difficult at all.

PA cops stink.....any little thing they will pull you over for....like when my friend had beads hanging from the rear view mirror.....they pulled her over for that!!!!! where in PA are ya from?

I'm in Harrisburg, PA.
You wrote to me on MySpace about gettin' your hair done, remember?

That sucks. I used to have a black SRT with 15% tint all the way around. I got pulled over once (right after I first got it) in our town, no ticket - and they didn't bother me anymore after that. I think they were just trying to find drugs or something.

Yeah, the cop the other night was dyin' to get me for something... anything.
Kept yellin' at me about speeding around an on ramp and how he couldn't keep up with me. I was doing 35. The ramp has a "cautionary" posting and he didn't even know what the posted limit was for the road he observed driving on. (11/15S to 581E ramp in Camp Hill for those who know the area)
He swore he smelled booze on me and my wife. Made me do a breathalizer. I had one pint with dinner and I blew a .01.
He wanted to check the car for open containers and then we realized what he smelled was leftover beer battered fish and chips in a to-go box. LOL!
He ended up giving me a warning when I produced my pink slip and explained that I bought the car this way... adding in that I'm not some 18 year old punk , you know.

ahhh yes......my bad! haha, yea i'll have to see ya sometime about that....not sure if i wanna dye it again or not :)...but good luck with the car i hope that the cops decide to soon give you a break!

Tinting up here leads to profiling and being pulled over to just find anything out of order. girls and or women seem to fair better in this area then men after the initial stop. I have three driving daughters and know it to be true. I still want a light tint on my cosmic while riding under the visual 'radar' That red seriously is magnet by itself but sure looks sweet and more so with tint!

I do when I have to back up. The rear window being tinted at night is a disaster, I can hardly see anything. If there's a street light it helps, but otherwise it's basically all black.

The previous owner of my car fortunately tinted the two front side windows a bit less so the visibility is fine.

o yes, i just got it done like a month ago.....i have 35% on all windows except the front. i love it and it looks great

You have any pictures? I am getting mine tinted this week and am debating between 50% on front and 15% on the rears, or 35% all the way around. I would like to see what it looks like.

in california you cannot tint the front at all its illegal.
its a safety matter for cops when they come approach your car

even though it gets hot here

lol~ @ "important" *^_^*

I also happen to own a cosmic blue w/ tint albeit within the legal limits (50/35/28) of Virginia. I got it mainly for the benefit of heat rejection, so I'm completely happy with it even if it's not dark.

Sorry Hikaru, I don't understand (50/35/28) is that back to front ,side windows, and or how much light is blocked. oh never mind send picture and i'll figure it out.sorrys

Back to the red causing more attention, I know somebody did a big study and found that old idea was wrong. It turned out only one color got pulled over more than the rest, white cars. And even that difference was very small.
