ok so i own a 2002 mazda protege 5 im putting the factory mazdaspeed protege turbo with all the OEM lines and fittings.the stock manifold and s-pipe the problem im have is where does the coolant feed go and where does the coolant return go? i have all the facorty hard pipes on the turbo and the factory three way elbow mazda uses. i need help pictures would be great if someone can show me how the elbow is ran and installed with all the lines installed in it. and how the feed line is installed thanks

I have uploaded the MazdaSpeed exploded parts view with parts list. You said you have the stock hard lines which is good. You may need to purchase the water feed source pipe running from back of the engine to the driver side (#68), the bolt banjo assembly and washers (#69, #70), and the 2 clamps (#72), as these would not be part of the turbo assembly. The Mazda part numbers on parts list 1-4 are the most current as I just went today to order my leaking water return elbow.

Here are the pictures I took of my engine bay. The transmission is removed due to a blown LSD(cryhard). There is one line that runs from behind the engine, right above the oil filter assembly, and goes across the side of the engine to the backside of the turbo. The other coolant line, frontside of turbo, goes into the coolant bypass hose you bought. I wrote the numbers on the pictures to relate to the previous post (MazdaSpeed Protege Turbo Parts) so you can easily relate. Hope this helps!

I went to the dealership and asked them for a printout for different screen shots I was seeing on their computer. They were very helpful, especially since I have been there 3 different times trying to track down the part number for the coolant return elbow!
