9lbs?

Hmm his goes against what most are saying about our cars.
They are not running 9lbs of boost.

"What is different about the MazdaSpeed Proteg other than the turbo, suspension, body kit, color, stereo
system, brakes, drivetrain, exhaust and wheels?
There are many additions to the MazdaSpeed Proteg through the use of various European and
Japanese spec parts. Some of the highlights are:

Different oil pan for oil return line
Radiator used from the turbo diesel 323
Intercooler used from the turbo diesel 323 (meant for the RF-EI engine)
Additional fasteners to existing vacuum lines
Water cooled oil cooler unit mounted at oil filter fitting
Different front and rear O2 sensors
Different fuel injectors
Larger brake booster unit
Anti-reversion check valve on clutch master cylinder
Stronger release bearing and clutch pivot fork
air by-pass valve modified and used from the FD RX-7's

What is the boost level set to on the MazdaSpeed Proteg?
Under normal conditions, it is set to 9 psi (0.62bar) and is controlled via a mechanical wastegate. When
a knock is detected (even if it is not due to low octane fuel), ignition timing and fuel are both cut back at
the same time."

my question is why is the fuel cutoff when the knock is detected.
im going to have to call some one in mazda and get this straight.

yeah i have noticed there are a few small desrcepancies, like the boost, in that page.
