One ballast is on that fuse box cover, the other is wedged on the passenger side by the strut tower mount. I also tried to get a pic of the driver's side wires by the headlight housing. My wiring runs along the back firewall (any red you see would be the HID wiring). The biggest problem is somewhere along the back the wires are starting to melt; so I am going to wrap them up in hose to protect them. Let me know if you need any other help!
Not knowing what I was doing, it took 8 hours (all day) to install both the HIDs and Angel Eyes. That was start to finish, including the baking of the lights and all. I did remove the front bumper to get the headlights out for the angel eyes...otherwise I think it is unnecessary for just the HIDsCurious when you did these how long did it take for both and did you have to remove the bumper?
No stepping here, LOL--you know more than I do! I believe you do have to remove the bumper to get the headlights out to bake them for angel eyes, though. But yeah, as you can see in the pictures, I even just routed the HID wires up top along the sides. Might look a little messy, but they are out of the way pretty good. Not to step on jri4, but the only reason to take off the bumper is so that you can have access to places to mount the ballast that are more hidden. I mounted mine to the frame without taking the bumper off. I had to go under the car to route the zip ties.
