Does anyone have a clue how to convert the analog box for the signals from the navigation DVD to read movie DVD's? Or if anyone has a better idea on how to make my stock navigation read movie DVD's let me know.

Thanks.

I had an idea in another thread but no replies. I'm gonna venture and guess the navigation monitor just displays video from a standard composite video signal from the GPS system. If you can tap into and split that input then you should have no problem displaying video from an external source such as a small form factor mobile DVD player mounted in the glove box or center console. My thought was to use the audio input on the stock head unit as some have done for Ipods and split the video in for the monitor to display DVD. Throw two more monitors on the headrests now you've got a fairly stock looking mobile entertainment system for the kids.

By splitting the video line you may be able to use it to feed the rear monitors the same map display on the main screen.
