My issue is with the continual nag to pair the Car's Bluetooth with my phone, once I get into the car. I may be sitting in a parking lot or even my driveway trying to text with the Mrs, then have the car constantly nag for pairing every few seconds, with subsequent cancellations each.

Ding! pairing NAG. Cancel. Ding! pairing NAG. Cancel. Ding! pairing NAG. Cancel. Ding! pairing NAG. Cancel. Ding! pairing NAG. Cancel. Ding! pairing NAG. Cancel .Ding! pairing NAG. Cancel. Ding! pairing NAG. Cancel. Ding! pairing NAG. Cancel. Ding! pairing NAG. Cancel. Ding! pairing NAG. Cancel. Ding! pairing NAG. Cancel.(crazy).

HOW DO I MAKE IT STOP NAGGING!!!!!

1.) And no, my phone is already paired with another device, I AM NOT, turning off my phone's Bluetooth.
2.) Not I'm leaving the car's BT on, so it will pair with wife's phone, without her calling me to steer her through the process

You post is incredibly annoying. We get it. You're annoyed. BUT, if you go into the Setup of the Bluetooth area on the CX5, you can pair the car to a separate voice and music stream. If you don't want to currently connect to the car, then tell the car side of the BT to Not pair with YOUR phone... you shouldn't have to delete the pairing, just tell it to not pair currently. It can't read your mind.

What phone do you have, why is your phone broadcasting that bluetooth is on and accepting new devices?

Usually your phone is hidden until you make it broadcast to pair with other devices.
So, your phone is broadcasting, and the car sees it as a pairable device.
Make your phone stop doing that.

but wait.. is the car asking to pair or your phone asking to pair???
If your phone is the one asking to pair... again this is YOUR phone's problem, not the car.

The car will always try to pair with the last phone connected, so if there are two phones in range then that one will be automatically chosen.
Only way round it in practise is to turn BT off on the phone not required to connect.

It can be annoying if my wife has been driving the car last, but is sat as a passage along side me, AND she has her BT on, I always try to make sure she turns her phone off, its easier than asking her to turn BT off.

I couldn't understand all the OP's post, so apologies if my answer isn't relevant.
