well, the only MSP around where I live is selling for $15,000US so that would make the Tc $17,000 for me

I tell you if the MSP is used I myself would go with the tc, just because you never know who owned it. The tc is brand new.
I myself have not seen one up close yet.

I think the tC is great, both in looks and power. The TRD supercharger is reported to push output to 200hp with stock everything else. Can't complain about that! (drive)

just got back from the dealer. I did not want to test drive the car because it was raining, but i was inside the car. I really liked the interior, very "expensive" looking. I think I'm going to be going with the scion Tc, I really liked it. I will be going back tomorow to give it a little test-drive. the salesman told me that the 5 speed is going for $16,500 and the 4 speed auto for $17,300. that is a big difference, but I now I'm going for the 5 speed, faster and less expensive can't get any better than that. when I test drive it, I'll write a little review.

If I really have to consider buying a car right now, with MP3 & MSP out of the picture, tC would be my choice as well. And the car is much shorter than I've anticipated when I saw it at the dealer. Looks very stylish both inside & out. Especially love the GTR-ish front end. Not a big fan of the GTR look, but the tC somehow made it more appealling to me. And I totally dig small cars. Good power, good supercharger & TRD factory support, Toyota reliability, cheap $16k+ price tag. It just seems like a package you can't go wrong.

I am a sucker for aggressive/rally looking 4 door cars (dream car EVO V), so MP3 is more like my cup of tea. But if you dig two door coupes without the need of a lot of power, tC sounds like a really sweet deal.

(For Pretzellogic),You know the only thing I have in my trunk at all times is an umbrella.I rarely use my trunk.It's pretty much a waste of space for me.

Went through this same thing.. Except I almost bought an SRT-4. Insurance would've killed me though, so I held off.

Now I'm waiting to be boosted, and faster than those Neons on acid.
