Considering a MazdaSpeed 3...any advice

Dave, of your shortlist, what was your second choice?? It appears you are basically in the same situation as I am right now.

I am heading out of town tomorrow for Charlotte, NC and Rockingham for the IHRA drag races...hopefully Charlotte has a Speed dealer where I can experience the rush myself and come closer to making a decision.

Thanks for the help.

Rich

Mercedes is very expensive to work on. I have one that is paid for and a daily driver around town car. It will soon be my 16 year old son's since it's a very very safe tank. The only reason I purchased it was because it was a steal. Someone in a family passed away, the twin brothers did not wan't to fight over it and sold it. I just happen to be in the right place at the right time. Mine does not have Chrysler in the picture so it should last sometime to come, but again it's very expensive to replace parts etc.

Lexus & Infinity are equal competition but I personally feel they are way overpriced for being nothing more than a nice Toyota & Nissan respectively. Additionally, Infinity is extremely picky with performance upgrades and they almost look to cancel your warranty. Join or view one of there forums and you will read...

Mazdaspeed3 & Mazdaspeed6. Both are great cars and you get way more for your money than you ever will on the others. This is my first Mazda ever and I'm sold for life! We'll as long as they don't butcher the car like Subaru is doing.

Lastly, I have a new Mazdaspeed3 GT with Navigation. The Mazda Navigation is worth every penny. The car very comfortably seats my children and if we need more room on a longer trip, I take the Suburban. However, I can easily and comfortably seat four adults on a road trip.

I hope this helps...
