Connectivity issue

I purchased a cheap dongle. It connects fine, but on my phone it shows as Bluetooth connected, but my Wi-Fi shows as Mazda. My phone then doesn't let me connect to Pandora and use my play list.
Oddly enough, I can make calls on the phone. Any idea how to resolve this?
Simply deleting the Mazda connection does not fix it, as it just reconnects.

It occurs to me that I can likely move the center console "smart" USB up to the front area where my phone hangs. I can put a "dumb" USB in the center console.
Since I plug the phone in up there, that may solve the issue.

I believe the CarPlay dongle I have uses both bluetooth and WiFi to communicate with the phone. If your phone is connected to the dongle with WiFi then it should use a cellular connection to connect with Pandora. I may not understand what you're trying to do though...
