Connect not importing all contacts - Windows Phone

Hi, I just got a 2016 mazda 6, and after pairing my phone, i realized only a portion of my contacts had been imported. Specifically, the contacts stop after "D". Every contact up until D comes over perfectly with pictures and all. I tried disconnecting and re-pairing the phone multiple times with no luck. I made sure to click OK on my phone to allow the car to access my contacts on each re-pairing. I even tried editing the contacts themselves to see if anything would get the contact to appear. Windows Phone has a text field labeled "Title", and strangely, if I add a title to a contact, like "Doctor" Thomas or "Aunt" Sue, the contact will appear after clicking the systems "import all contacts".

I see no difference between contacts in A-D, and contacts in E-Z, it seems completely arbitrary that the car would stop at D.

to download an app, but Windows Phone doesn't have an app like this to my knowledge.

Any ideas on what could fix this?

I have a Nokia 928 on Verizon running the denim update through the developer preview.

Update: I tried another Windows Phone that does not have the developer preview on it, same result. I also tried an iphone 5s, it was able to import all the contacts fine. I am beginning to suspect there is something about WP that the connect system doesn't like.

Update 2: I disconnected my phone one more time, this time I unchecked the box that allowed Connect to bring in the photos with the contacts. All of the contacts finally came over. Maybe the memory of the system could only handle so many photos before giving up?

Update 3: I completely erased my second windows phone and only put in 5 contacts ranging from A to R. Each had a photo. I was able to import all 5 of them into the Connect system, photos included. My guess is that there must be a point where the Connect system memory gives up at a certain point when trying to import X number of contacts with photos.

Dude, thank you so much for this! You're a lifesaver. I just got a new 2016 last week (which I love) and I have a Windows Phone (which I also love). This was driving me crazy! (P.S. If you figure out how to get texts to work, let me know).
