Compustar wont go into reservation mode

Just installed this last week,was working fine,now my 01 Protege wont go into resrvation mode..checked all connections(all were soldered).

Any ideas??

Found it ,I was getting an intermittent connection on the ebrake,just tightened it a bit and its fine
