Colder Plugs = No Hesitation? Suspicious..

2003 Spicy Orange MSP & Mazda 6 S
So last night at our weekly meet at Life Plaza. Everyone helped remove my MBC, and install my NGk Spark Plugs. Some people said It might be a good idea to remove the MBC all together, considering my car is at the dealership all day for the Re-flash. But I am planning on putting it back on , when I get my car back, which is why the plugs were installed.

Anyway On the way home last night, with Dr. Sound in my car, there was 0 hesitation. Smooth as hell, and very even power distribution. It was warm outside, and no humidity. Keep in mind I have not yet had my car flashed. Just wondering if anyone could maybe explain this.. my car is at the dealership right now, and will be until I can pick it up after work.

My concern is that the tech will drive my car, notice that is does not stumble, and then refuse to flash my car.

I thought that if you request the flash they HAVE to do it?

Thats what my impression was too considering this was a TSB. But I have read posts on this forum, that lead me to believe otherwise. I guess some dealerships are being Jerks about it, and refusing to do it because of certain mods, or maybe because the tech drove the car, and didnt notice the hesitation on that particular car.

wait you didnt disconnect the battery when installing the plugs?

sorry yes It was disconnected. I went in to get food and boba, and when I came out, my hood was open with 10-14 people working on it. lol hmm

he's my mechanic, the homie.... tell them that Kenny sent you, and they will take care of you.....

can anyone attribute the lack of hesitation to the colder plugs? Is there a explination to this?

Your a girl, if all else fails flirt with the service manager a little, gurantee your car get's flashed without a problem. Dress a little skanky, show some leg and you'll be just fine.

*shakes fist at women and there power over men*:'(

And the only thing I noticed with the plugs was that my car didn't idle as rough and it started up a little faster, that's about it.

If you disconnected the battery when you installed the plugs then that reset the ECU. It basically needs to 'learn' how to hesitate again. If this was the case the hesitation would come back in about 300-500 miles. Some ppl have been resetting the ECU periodically as a quick fix for the hesitation.

Thats what I do, just about everytime I fill up I reset my ECU, keeps the hesitation down and my car just runs a lot better, and I have the FPR kit, the FCD kit, and the colder pulgs.
