Hi I usually leave my car in the garage but now it has to stay outdoors, it's been outside for the past week and I've been realizing that when I drive it it's harder to put the shifter in gear, one time it didnt go into reverse, I also hear this clucking sound when going to second. Any ideas? Is this because of the cold weather usually it hits 40 deg at night.

Huh? Cali?
When it "drops" to the mid 40's the speed should be at optimal performance...
get it checked out.

Mid 40's? Pussy. Jesus ****, dude, b**** when it's -14 degrees out. Just shift it easily until it's warmed.

40's?! WTF.

Clutch feels like it's filled with molasses.
Get over it.
I kid. Just shift easy until warm. I usually clutch in and shift the stick around a little before starting off just to get stuff moving.

Change your trans fluid to synthetic, it will HELP greatly...I just had mine changed to Royal Purple cuz I had the same problems your describing and after the new fluids its 100% better, mine still sticks abit going into second but compared to before it's hellava lot better.

If you are having issues shifting in those temps, you may want to have your tranny checked out. I am not sure if it was an issue for the 2008 models, but there were a few MS3's that had syncho issues. I was one of them and a few other guys from my area had issues as well.

ROFL. I was driving mine in -40C last year. It was definitely a little stiff then...
