Cold early morning start up problem

Doesn't the remote start also try to restart your car if it fails...Assuming it was non-interrupted by the user? I used to have a Compustar alarm/starter combo installed on my 02 Sentra Spec V before I traded it in for my Mazda..Wouldn't it therefore try to start the car again ( I can't remember how many times it does this for)?...Like I said, assuming one didn't press any buttons or "interrupt" the process

All royalty payments aside, I think the car would still start with the clutch safety switch bypassed for remote start - but keep the parking brake on or it will drive away. Yes, even in neutral. It wouldn't get far but a few feet might get it into trouble.
