Cold Air Intake

Most of the CAI I have seen are quite a bit more expensive than the Short Ram ones. I get the general feeling, although this is by no means 100% correct, that the CAIs are better for performance, while all you get from a Short Ram is better sound. I found this on Ebay, any thoughts? Is this worth being more than $50 more than the other Ebay auctions?

It's not even a full CAI, it takes the stock one, and streches it out, I dont see why it costs more than the SRI's on E-Bay, maybe because it's got some chrome?

I noticed you have a Bomz SRI...any thoughts on that? Good sound? Did you replace the filter with a K&N? If so, what model#?

I like the way it sounds, pritty nice, and you can hear the air sucking in when you turn the engine off... But like everyone says, make sure you do something to keep the pipe going into the engine from hitting the master cylinder, i just made a really ghetto bracket, i'll get you a picture if you want, some people just cut off a little bit of the pipe, but i'm affraid if i do that, the rubber fittings wont fit over the bend... Anyone with any experiance with this, please let me know how much u took off, and how it works.
