Cold Air intake question.

so i understand that alot of people that install a cold air or a short ram intake throw the engine light on. i have two questions...
1) is this in 06 mazda 6's too or just anything before that because i havent seen anyone talk about it that has an 06 or 07
2)is there a company that will be less likely to throw the light or not..like injen instead of aem?
any recomendations would be awesome guys thanks!

As long as you keep your IAT and MAF hooked up and in the correct order you shouldnt throw a code.

The 6s (V6) has been known to throw CEL's, moreso than not. CPE has an intake, it has a larger diameter pipe and a black box that is wired into the ECU to keep the AF ratios in line.

Others have said that Fujita and Mazdaspeed ( made by AEM) and Injen have worked well too.

im 99.9% sure im gonna get the CP-E intake guys..any reason not to?
