- 2014 Mazda 6
Evening Folks,
So, back in July, I was blown away by the 6 and got one.
Has run perfectly in the 10K miles I put on it.
So, today I go for my second oil change, and as soon as I drive out of the
dealership, there's a brief pause in the acceleration, and the engine light goes on.
Go back, they think someone accidentally didn't put something or other back, and
after about a half hour, they tell me they're going to have to keep the car because
of some transmission module error code that "Mazda knows about".
So, they gave me a 2013 Mazda 6 as a loaner with full tank, no charges whatsoever.
Is this really a known issue? I have no idea regarding the mechanics of warranty work, but
it seems awfully suspicious this issue happens to express itself minutes after the oil
change.
Anyone have an insight on this? The dealer is an official Mazda dealer by the way...
Thank you,
