Coilover Spring Rates

:
22 CX-5 Turbo
So I am looking at getting coilovers for my 2022T CX-5. Looking to drop about 2"-2.5". Looking at Ceika and BC Racing BR series. Both recommend doing 6k front and 6k rear. I find this a little odd since with drop springs there is always a definite difference between front and rear rates. Corksport runs iirc 3.4k front and 7k rear. Factory is also higher in the rear. H&R and Eibach drop springs are also quite a bit higher in the rear vs the front. So why are both coilover companies recommending a much high rate in the front? And why are they recommending the same rate front and rear? Do coilovers require something different than stand alone drop springs? Any insight is appreciated as in anyone's experience who has them.

I feel equal front and rear is like a default setting but it should be changed to suit the car. We want higher in the rear.

What are the spring rates for H&R and Eibach? I've only found Corksport, AutoEXE, and Tein.

Agree I feel the 6k f/r is a default of sorts. But in emailing Ceika and giving them info they are still stuck on trying to recommend those rates.

I haven't gotten specifics on rates for the last 2. But all they confirmed is their rates were indeed higher in the rear.
