alright before i even ask i would just like to say, i am a poor teenager and am looking into buying coils. there are currently two options. option 1- used tein basic coilovers. decently rusted but im told the height adjusters still turn all the way down. option 2- raceland coilovers. yes i know everyone thinks theyre terrible but my friend has them on his gti and it rides decent for cheap coils. please dont down talk these unless you have personal experience. im looking to go really low and am wondering if any of you guys have personal experience or friends that have used these coils or know how low they can go. thanks

if you only want a cheap option, just get racelands. just don't expect them to be spectacular.

thats what im thinking but the teins are for sale for $300 but the rear dampers are almost done. is it worth it to just buy them and either run stock dampers in the back or get new ones?

the spring rates on the teins will be way too much for the stock rear dampers to handle, and will likely kill them in short order. then, you'll be doing something with the rears anyway.
