hey guys I have the oppurtunity to get my hands on a cobb sri. Only problem is I think it is one of the defevtive units that slipped out through the cracks with the warped air straightener in the MAF housing. It isnt totally warped but it alos isnt completely straight. Would this be bad for the car or take away from the performance to be gained from an intake? I may be better of waiting on the new SRI made for the speed6 but I am missing the whoosh : (

nevermind this question... I just rechecked the sri auction and its up to $325 dollars now. I think I will wait for the new one coming out in the next few months. Thats a bit too much for an item that originally sold for $185 and is somewhat defective...

I hope that the COBB SRI comes out soon, how long has it been "annouced"? I've been waiting for months. Ugh.

I have a Fujita SRI and it has served me well. never a CEL and I paid 150.00 and I got 2 filters!

Thanks for the information. I'll have to check that out!

Looking on the Fujita Site, I don't see an SRI, just a CAI. Any link or hint on where to purchase?

SGTMS6,
The bad thing about the this car is having to be patient with the aftermarket. I've never had to wait for parts like I've had to with this car.

Isn't that the truth. There were a lot more options out there for my old Hemi Ram, of course that engine seems to be in about every other Dodge/Chrysler product these days. Such is life and what do they say about having patience...

Anyone else have any thoughts on the COBB SRI, or other SRI?
