Cobb SRI msp3 vs. msp6

Ordered the Cobb SRI recently and they said the part was out of stock and it would be a few weeks till it came in. They offered the speed3 version at a discount stating the only difference was the mounting the speed6 had for it. How important is the mount for the speed6? And would it be a big deal if I went with the speed3 version. I have the speed6 with the forge bpv.

"- the mazdaspeed6 bracket is out of stock for the intake for two weeks. the mazdaspeed3 version of this intake will work, it just has no bracket. i can ship one of these at a discount if you wish. please let me know."

Recomendations on waiting? Cause thats what im thinking of at this point.

yeah the bracket is different but i also thought the six version came with a larger filter too.

you'll be fine without a bracket, i have a ms3 nano on my six, no bracket, works fine no problamo!

i say get it if you can get it at a discount. you may be waitin a while on that bracket. stuff can take a while to get sometimes.
thats why i went with a ms3 nano. got tired of waiting

The filter is shorter for the MS3, that is correct. I had the MS3 SRI shipped to me on accident. I have the MS6 one now. Other than the filter and the bracket though, they are pretty much the same.

I know a few MS6'ers are running the MS3 setup.
