Hey guys,

had a question about the COBB Shift Knob and the B&M Short Shift Kit and whether or not there is a need for a spacer in order to get the shift boot to sit flush with the base of the shift knob?

Thanks everyone and Happy Holidays,

I don't know about that specific knob, but the B&M short shift kit keeps the stock knob sitting flush with the boot.

sneakypete, currently I'm running the Mazdaspeed Protege Shift Knob due to the fact that it sits deeper then the regular knob and that was my only question for anyone that may be running it. Whether it sits at factory depth or lower.

I put some washers under the boot to get to fit tight against the TWM knob on the TWM shifter. The Mazdaspeed knob fit perfectly.
