COBB intake filter inlet size!?

ok, just checked it out for sure...it's definitely 4.5"...=d

why do i know? i got a fujita f5 for my SRI...:D

no prob...with all this said, the stock cobb filter is pretty darn good. from swapping back and forth, i don't really feel a difference in performance...the thing i DO like about the fujita is that it's a dry filter and doesn't require oiling...(alright)

i just don't like oiled filters for MAF cars. the oil has a tendency to gather on the element over time, especially w/ factory oiled filters (meaning you put it on as is out of the box)

i am going to try to use a donaldson 'powercore' filter IF i can get the right size. they are more efficient, deal with moisture better than oiled gauze, and of course are oil-less. donaldson developed the technology for OE diesel industry and eventually a few OE diesel trucks. Amsoil sells them but Volant has made a few fitments for their truck 'cool air' intake kits.
