Cobb front mount intercooler.

First off, you forgot about the most important component of a fmic kit...the silicon couplers. There is alot of play in each coupler to allow for many different applications.

Second, do you really think i can get the sti or evo intercooler to fit?

Third, you are an idiot :)
So is there enough play in the silicone couplers to compensate for your engine being BACKWARDS from the Speed3? My exhaust manifold and turbocharger is back by the firewall, where's yours?

Good luck getting those pipes to fit.

First of all LOL!

Next, i called cobb and they love helping customers out. Since the engines are the same, but with opposite orientation, we agreed that using the cold pipes as the hot pipes and the hot pipes as the cold pipes would serve as a remedy to this problem.

Kind of like reverse engineering ;)

maybe you could just mount the intercooler BEHIND the engine???

I like the idea. But i used to run a setup similar to that on my geo metro and it created terrible turbo lag.

Maybe i should just save my money and run without any intercooler. Just pipes...? They are overrated anyways...
