Cobb AP the right move?

Ok I'm about done with bolt-ons other than wanting a 3' cat-back at some point or maybe the Cobb downpipe. Anyway, Looking at the list of mods I have would the Cobb AP be a wise move. I know the preset maps are probably junk to me as I don't have the Cobb stuff meant to be used with these maps. There are others avaiable for download or something like that right. I'm sorry I'm kinda new to this stuff and alot of the searches seem to turn up the same stuff I always read. Thanks for any help or advise.

Ok thanks I'll look into it. PITA to install on your own? I just read that these are good to keep things from...well from blowing up. Is it better to get the internals or just get a whole pump. Any specific company?

PTP's internals... ordered mine earlier this week... asked "Gina" from PTP and she said its around a one hour install.

Easy install if you're not a ten-thumbed monkey. You'll need to get the intake off, up to the turbo, if you don't want to go insane. For the job, you'll need e8 inverted torx, a 17 and 19 mm wrench, a zip tie, a deep 18 mil socket and a bench vise really helps...along with common sense...and a bit of 10W30 for lubricating the internal parts.
