Cobb AP Sufferring "Burn-in"?

Noticed my year-old AP is suffering from a "burn-in" effect similar to the old CRT monitor I had on my 386 - my AP stays plugged-in in the car, and I assumed that LCDs were not susceptible to burn-in....

...guess that's what I get for "assuming" huh?

Anyone else experience this? The ghosting effect is distracting (especially in low light).

The early Version 2 AP's did have a problem with the burn in effect if left on for extended periods of time. There was a transitioning to a newer style screen and there is a good chance you might have that older style in your AccessPORT. If it is continuing to be a problem please don't hesitate to call our customer service support and they can set you up for a possible warranty repair.
