Actually, USPS Money Orders are more safe than Paypal or other money orders. Messing with a USPS money order is a federal crime, can launch a federal investigation, and get you your money back. Bank money orders are the ones that are unsafe as they are only a misdemeanor.

safer**

alright I am opening an account, but your kind of being rediculous because it is not any safer. It's still just giving me money. I'd appreciate some give from the buyer because of how cheap I'm selling it.

it's a lot safer cuz paypal protects the buyer. money order, u could easily say u never got the payment.

The post office isn't about to get mixed up in a dispute. You bought the money order, the recipient cashed it. End of story. You didn't get your item, they don't want to hear about it. PayPal offers more recourse, but not a bunch. And you don't have to have an account with PayPal. The fees are about the same -- 3% or so for PayPal, I believe.

BAH! I had it that way 3 times and changed it back. Spelling and Engrish I suct at much-ly in skool.

Totally NOT true. You can find the bank (or grocery store, convenience store, what ever) that they cashed it at. The Post Master General is REQUIRED to resolve all disputes, both the Poster Master at the sending site AND the recieving site are involved. Paypal fraud is a misdemeanor, and offers almost NO legal help beyond their own resolution department policies. USPS has the entire FBI and federal legal system to deal with fraud. USPS will put a lein on bank account funds if needed, can draw money directly from your paycheck, and will have agents standing on your front door with a warrant. I've resolved 3 disputes this way and each time were from people trying to screw me over. You do not "F" with the post office. (smash) Go to your local Post Master and talk it over with him/her.

I just called the post office, and they said just what I did. You bought the money order, it's your problem if the item doesn't show up. They'll sell insurance for damage, but they won't help with non-shipment.

Not on a Post Office Money Order. If it's a money order purchased somewhere else (like a bank), they do nothing for you. Post Office Money Orders are key... and they DO investigate all claims made on Post Office Money Orders, fraudulent selling or buying. I've done it, have the legal docs to prove it from all 3 claims. Someone at your post office is uninformed, or didn't get the gist of what was being asked.

Here's some numbers that can help you with a problem involving Post Office Money Order fraud.

If you have questions about accepting Postal Money Orders, call your nearest U.S. Postal Inspection Service™ Office or Post Office™. Call the fraud hotline at 1-800-372-8347 (Monday-Friday) or visit www.usps.com/postalinspectors for additional information.

Pretty simple concept: "Bought something online/mailorder/Ebay, whatever. Paid with USPS money order. Didn't get it, do I have any recourse?" Answer: "Not through the Post office." Makes sense... There's nothing on the money order proving what you're buying. Could be a box of widgets or a part for your car. USPS money orders are as good as cash.

I agree with MikeHTally. If I dont get an item paid for with paypal, I call my credit card and I get my money back.

Back on topic, no more posts about this AP from OP? Shall I say f'n scammer? Cant prove its for a MS3? hmmm...

this thread is halarious. Purchase a money order through your amex card, if the buyer has one and send that. You say you dont wanna **** with the post office...take it from me you dont wanna **** with american express. Ive had "internet purchase issues" before...all i did was call em, they tell me sorry for the problems Mr. xxxx...the money has been credited back to your card, we will deal with it and send you a report in the mail. end of story. This has happened a few times here and overseas in china. amex rules.

On another note this guy just seems shady as hell. The mods should close this b****.

Well after alot of thinking, I am keeping my accessport. A shop near my house is going to let me do some runs on their dyno for free just because they want to see what it can do. Looks like ill be posting some stage 1 dynos soon.

Here's the pics with it in my car, and with the manual. I do apologize for not showing it earlier but I work full time and go to school and do not have alot of time on my hands. But try to be more patient, and also try not to be so rude by calling me "full of s***" and a "scammer" as clearly I am not. Thank you for everyone who made me offers, and I do apologize for the last minute change of heart.

If not...ill take it off your hands for $600....through paypal ofcourse lol hahaha

Jessed, just so you know, my part in the debate was in no way directed at you, specifically, or your attempt to sell your AP.

This thread is a mess, it is not clear if it is for sale or not. I am closing it. If you still want to sell, please make a new thread with your updated pictures.
