I did a search but no luck. What type would you recommend. ACT street & strip. Or the Spec stage 2. I was also looking at the ACT 6-puck (dunno)

I dont recommend the exedy stage 1, its not much better than the stock msp clutch...

its a good clutch, but so is the stock =P
just not worth the extra money for what you get

I prototyped the Exedy and it holds up better than the stock MSP.
It has more clamp capacity than the stock MSP clutch.
Anyone who had issues installed their clutch wrong or did not follow the proper break in.
Very few people here have enough power that necessitates a heavier duty clutch.

good point there, I am definately not running stock

I was looking at SPEC. But I am confused why the price difference between the normal protege and the MSP ?

its bulls***. apparently, spec claims that you have to buy from the msp listing if you have a msp and from the protege listing if you have a regular protege.

just a ploy to get more money...im running a "regular" protege clutch from spec in my msp right now.

Exedy Stage 1 FTW! I am making around the same power as you are with about the same mods and the Exedy Stage 1 has held up great. Has a nice firm feel to it but doesn't require too much force to push in. Everyone that has been in my car always mentions how nice the clutch pedal feel is.

there is no difference between the two trannies except for the lsd

Decide yet?

I have a Clutchmasters Stage IIR. Love it. Got it for a good price with a Fidanza Flywheel.

man i just installed a exedy oem clutch with a fidanza flywheel. it feels good now and holds all the power but later on i hope it holds up with my turbo....
