Hey anyone have a clutch click problem when compressing it? My dad thinks it may be the throw-out bering? any one have an idea?

I just found so many posts about this while i searched.. no one really has a answer.. Its funny, i found one of my posts from last year when I had 40,000 and i had the same probelm

I think i should just get an aftermarkert clutch.

I hear a small clicking but only when i let off the clutch at a certain way. Almost like it was sticking to something.

Me too. what the hell is it. Mines been doing for 12k miles
IT SOUNDS LIKE A RUBBING/SQUEEK AND THEN CLICKS A LITTLE BIT.... I ALSO HAVE A CHIRPING SOUND, BUT WHEN THE CLUTCH IS DEPRESSED IT GOES AWAY..

My MP3 is doing the same thing at 53,500...(at a light, I can engage and disengage the clutch and hear it.)

I think throwout bearing or maybe just the fact that you can hear the cable and spring from the drivers seat. A throwout bearing usually squeaks.

I have the click-click effect as well. It seems to do it more in hot weather. I don't think it's any kind of problem.

mine clicks (sounds like metal hitin metal) when i push my clutch in to change gears. mostly happens from 1st-2nd,2nd-3rd, sometimes 3rd-4th. other than that theres no noise. but when i double clutch it doesnt make the noise sometimes....weird.

clicking

I had the same noise on my mp3 at 50k, also sounded like a lifter click at idle
I found that if you lighty grease the clutch fork where the slave cylinder contacts all noises are gone.

Pics? Not sure what you're talking about (transmission/clutch newbie). Trying to figure out if I could do this myself. Thanks
